Over a dozen drivers to test this week at The Glen

WATKINS GLEN, N.Y. -- -- With the Sirius at The Glen Nextel Cup Series race weekend less than one month away, NASCAR's top teams are paying special attention to Watkins Glen International, especially those in the hunt for the Chase for the NASCAR Nextel Cup.

They'll get a chance to test their cars and get ready for the final road course race of the season during The Glen's annual test days, scheduled for July 26-27, which is again open to the public.

Fans who have purchased tickets for the Sirius at The Glen, August 12-15, will be admitted free of charge both days.

Fans should present their Sirius at The Glen tickets at the gate to gain free admission or pick-up a voucher at the ticket office if they have not received their event tickets.

All other spectators can take in the action for only $5.00 each day at the gate. Gate 4 will be open from 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. both days.

Drivers scheduled to participate include defending race champion Robby Gordon, last year's second-place finisher Scott Pruett, veterans Bobby Labonte, Mark Martin, Dale Jarrett and Ricky Rudd, young guns Jamie McMurray, Greg Biffle and Casey Mears and rookie sensations Kasey Kahne, Brian Vickers, Brendan Gaughan and Scott Riggs.

German Klaus Graf, who competed earlier this year at Infineon Raceway, will also be on hand.
